SXTPS is a project dedicated to holding space for Black and Brown Queer and Trans people to explore oneness with self and community, through experiencing culturally focused entertainment in a sex and body-positive, creative, Queer-as-fuck brave space.
Our power is in the music, the dance, and each other.
IT SOUNDS LIKE…
Our curation of vibrations pays homage to decades of underground club and rave music, honoring its Black roots. You will hear house, techno, afro-house, hip hop, and much more. But we keep it BLACK AS FUCK. Everything comes with rhythm and soul.
Be aware: This isn’t a space for wallflowers. Inside SXTPS, we move to the sound of the beats, fully engrossed in the energy our artists bring.
Give yourself permission to be present and release on the dance floor.
IT LOOKS LIKE…
YOU are the visuals, baby. Show up how you want to be seen.
We don't have a strict dress code, but we highly encourage you to wear what makes you feel sexy.
EVERY EVENT HAS COAT CHECK.
We hire a discrete photo and video staff to document the night with care and consent. If you ever see a photo posted that you want taken down, just DM us — no questions asked. Our main focus in documenting our events is for an archive and to be able to say we were all a part of queer nightlife history.
IT feels LIKE…
Intimacy, sensuality, and sexuality are vehicles of interaction and connection at SXTPS.
Every SXTPS event is a sex and body-positive space for all gender expressions. You are welcome and safe to explore yourself and each other both on the dance floor and in the dark room (yes, there is a dark room).
This should go without saying, but consent is MANDATORY. You would be entirely remiss to make any assumptions when determining consent in our space.
No racism, colorism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, ableism, body shaming, or any kind of harassment.
If your words, energy, or actions make anyone feel unsafe, you will be asked to leave.
If you ever feel unsafe, talk to any SXTPS staff member; we got you. And if you see someone who needs help, step in or tell us. Community care is how we keep this space alive.
SXTPS is sacred to the ones who rarely get to feel fully free; we celebrate our femmes, dolls, trans fam, and gender-nonconforming siblings. Show love. Protect them. Uplift them.
